Why Is It Important To Know Your First Period After Pregnancy?
Probably you are wondering why your period after pregnancy is a lot different than your past ones, am I right? The weird feeling is mostly felt by first time mothers because second timers to the nth timers have experienced this kind of menstruation already.
Once you have your menstruation right after you have given birth to your child, you have to understand that your body has not ovulated during the time you are pregnant. So when you finally had your menstruation, the feeling will be really weird and the blood flow is a lot heavier than what you usually had. Aside from the heavy blood flow, you will also notice that the pain during your menstruation is very painful compared to the menstrual cramps that you have before.
Issues about periods and pregnancy always arises whenever the women is starting to think when is she having her regular menstruation back and once she have her period, she will be asking why is it heavier and more painful.
Anyway, if you are a first timer, I suggest that you read a lot of period after pregnancy articles because this will give you an idea about the said issue. Different results happen for results can vary from one woman to another.
Your first menstruation will signify that your body is capable of conceiving again. You may not want to conceive at this very stage because your body has not fully recovered yet and forming another baby inside you may disrupt your body which is not a good thing to happen. Doctors suggest that you conceive baby with 3 years or 4 years interval.
Why am I saying this? Well, in order for you to take birth control pills which are usually taken in the first day of your menstruation, you have to know the right timing of your first period after pregnancy. The color of it should be very red and unlike the usual bleeding that happens after you deliver the baby which is like dark red that is almost brown in color. Be careful not to confuse yourself with this bleeding and your very first menstruation after giving birth.
If you are not sure on how to go about this, I highly recommend that you ask information about this from your doctor to get you well informed. Don’t assume especially if you are a first timer and if you don’t have enough information about this issue yet. /p>
